Victims Support Programme 2026-28

The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS) is opening the Victims Support Programme 2026-28, aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of victims and survivors of the Troubles/conflict. Funding is available for community and voluntary organisations to deliver services such as Psychological/Talking Therapies, Complementary Therapies, Social Support, and Welfare Support. Information sessions will be held from 10:30am-12pm (approx.) at three locations:
• Belfast – Monday 8th September, NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
• Cookstown – 10th September, Glenavon Hotel, 52 Drum Rd, Cookstown BT80 8QS
• Derry~Londonderry – 12th September, Everglades Hotel, Prehen Rd, Londonderry BT47 2NH

Heart Research UK Healthy Heart Grants

Details
Heart Research UK Healthy Heart Grants aim to empower communities to beat heart disease. Small, registered charities and community interest companies with annual incomes below £1 million are eligible to apply. Funding is provided for projects that focus on reducing the risk of developing heart disease, particularly through initiatives centred on one or more of the following risk factors: Nutrition and Healthy Eating, Physical Activity, Smoking, and Alcohol. Support can be used for salaries, overhead costs, and equipment for projects lasting from at least three months up to 12 months.

Amount Available: Up to £15,000 per project.

Closing Date: The Northern Ireland fund opens at 9am on 20 August 2025 and closes at 5pm on 17 September 2025.

Belfast City Council: Cultural Multi-annual Grants 2026-28

details
The CMAG Arts and Heritage two-year grant offers two strands for organisations:
• Arts and Heritage Grants: Designed to support arts and heritage organisations with a recurring, year-round programme of work.
• Festivals and Events Grants: Open to all cultural organisations, including those focused on sports, architecture, language, food, and more. Eligible applicants are those delivering festivals or events with audiences exceeding 10,000 participants, or those running large-scale cultural festivals or events.
Online information sessions are available for prospective applicants:
• Thursday 28 August, 11am–12pm
• Thursday 11 September, 2pm–3pm

Amount available: Minimum grant of £10,000, maximum of £50,000 per organisation.

LGBT+ Fund: Collective Nurture Fund

Details
Consortium’s new fund is aimed at supporting LGBT+ global majority community groups and organisations across the UK. The funding is intended to help with connecting people and communities, creating safer communities, improving health and wellbeing, enhancing policymaking, and improving service provision.

Amount Available: Grants range from £500 to £3,000.

Closing Date: Applications close at 12pm (noon) on 3 September 2025.
