Year 2 of the Animate-Build-Connect Programme is now open, and NIRWN is looking for 8 rural women’s groups to join us from September 2026. If you’re part of a group that could do with some dedicated support, this is worth reading.
Successfully selected groups will receive:
- a tailored mentoring and development plan,
- a mix of in-person and online workshops, peer and shared learning opportunities with other groups,
- and a £1,000 participation contribution to use however you choose.
The application is short and straightforward, and you simply need a clear understanding of what your group needs right now.
To be eligible your group needs:
- to be a full NIRWN member (free to join)
- have at least three or 50% of committee members committed to participating (see details on criteria attached)
- and have a bank account in your group’s name.
If you’ve previously applied and weren’t selected, you’re very welcome to apply again.
